“The production makes believe that…”: Alicia (Married at first sight) makes a point!

The sixth season of Married at first sight in full swing on M6. And among the candidates, Alicia caused a stir with viewers. The pretty 28-year-old blonde married Bruno, a charming 31-year-old brunette. The couple even flew for a honeymoon in Portugal. If they seem to get along well, the two lovebirds still note a gap between reality and what is broadcast on the screen. With our colleagues from TV Magazinethe coordinating nurse talks about this.

Alicia noticed it, some questions from reporters are leading. “When I missed the answer, the journalist asked me the question again until I really answeredshe recalls. They really want to get an answer they’ve already thought about. Sometimes the interviews are late and, with fatigue, we just want to go to bed.

Moreover, during the wedding night, it was with her husband Bruno that she went to bed. That night, nothing happened between them. More so, the young woman seemed uncomfortable, insisting on turning off the lights. During the episode, it’s revealed that Alicia wants to hide the scars from the horrific car accident she suffered in 2014 – which claimed her sister’s life. The reality is different… “I want to clarify that it is a montage. I’m in pajamas so, in any case, Bruno won’t see my scars. In fact, I turn off the lights, because I have OCD, I need to sleep in complete darknessshe explains. The production makes believe that I don’t want Bruno to see my body but that has nothing to do with it. I’m just tired. We quickly went to bed. We didn’t even talk too much.

And that’s not all: the blocking of the beauty in relation to these marks left on her body is exaggerated on the air. “As the scars are visible, sometimes I have to explain them. But otherwise, I accept them. I often wear crop tops with my belly uncovered, we’ll see it in the next episodeshe says. I can have little apprehensions when I don’t know people, but not as much as the production might suggest on the show.” At last, “the story on [sa] sister” is also highlighted throughout the broadcasts. “But it’s for ratings“, she continues. And to clarify that she “really like the production“, that”no worries“and that she”don’t blame them“.”I just wish my time in the program revolved less around my past“, concludes Alicia.
