The producer store Le Goût des Saisons in Mont-de-Marsan is opening a second point of sale in Saint-Avit

Do you know Le Goût des Saisons in Mont-de-Marsan, the famous producers’ store on avenue Maréchal Foch? Well, a second store of the same name in Saint-Avit on the ring road of the Mons urban area, at the roundabout of the firefighters. A godsend for those who didn’t have time to enter the city to stock up on good products. They will now be able to make a “pit stop” on the way to work, for example.

Freshly picked fruits and vegetables

Au Goût des Saisons in Mont-de-Marsan and Saint-Avit, fruits and vegetables are sold just picked up the day or the day before. These are the products, such as poultry, of our farmer friends from Lot-et-Garonne Eric, Claude and Isabelle, a shocking trio who have taken their destiny into their own hands. About ten years ago, given their volume of production, these farmers headed for the Landes to market the fruits of their labor. Farmers who work in conventional and sustainable agriculture which is gradually taking precedence over other methods decried today. Farmers working on the agricultural model of tomorrow. The first Le Goût des Saisons store opened almost 10 years ago on avenue du Maréchal Foch. It immediately won over consumers. The second store should be successful like the first, especially during this period when prices are soaring in supermarkets, while in the short circuit they remain more or less stable. Count for example 1 euro for the two salads with Taste of the Seasons.

In producer stores, unity is strength!

To complete the product offer, our Goût des Saisons producers have joined forces with local farmers, such as:

  • La Ferme du Clercq d’Horsarrieu (pork, veal and beef)
  • La Maison Samadet in Saint-Sever (pork and preserves)
  • The Born apiaries in Pontenx-les-Forges
  • The apiary of Claron in Bougue
  • Yoghurts from Ferme Bernadotte de Cécile in Parleboscq
  • Isabelle Pacheu’s goat tome in Arrette

The list is not exhaustive, some artisans are also involved with, for example, the Montoise Cousturian pies or even the excellent bread from Aux Délices d’é Mies in Saint-Pierre-du-Mont.
