announced that a body was found in the town of Corcelles-en-Beaujolais (Rhône), this Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Although it was still too early to confirm the identity of the remains, our colleagues indicated that there was a good chance that it was the body of Marwan Berreni
. A few hours after the announcement of Parisianour colleagues from Paris Match confirmed what everyone had feared for several weeks: the actor of More beautiful life is indeed deceased and the body found is his. The public prosecutor Laetitia Francart confirmed this to the Progress In the evening.

Did Marwan Berreni end his life?
An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of the death of the 34-year-old actor. But for the moment, the suicide theory is favored. As a reminder, Marwan Berreni had been missing since August 3, 2023. In the evening, he hit a woman while leaving a nightclub in Macon while driving his 4×4. The actor has not given any sign of life since that date.
Over the weeks, his friends have appealed for the actor to come back and reassure him about his state of health. His parents, Mourad and Martine Berreni, reported the disappearance of their sons on August 7 to the Sens gendarmerie, in Yonne. On October 2, 2023, they wrote a letter to their boy begging him for news.
“Marwan, simply, we love you, and believe in you,” the couple wrote. “Come back! We need you! Marwan, if you think you need help to chase away this dark cloud that hangs over you and makes you feel sadness and despair; so that everything will be better tomorrow”they wrote in particular before reassuring him: “know that not all storms come to ruin our lives…”
