A fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. on the night of Saturday July 23 to Sunday July 24, 2022 in Lescar, in the urban area of Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques). The fire broke out in the parking lot of a Mercedes car dealership. Ten vehicles were hit, three of which were completely destroyed. One of the vehicles had a value of 100,000 eurosthe total damage is estimated at around one million euros. The intervention of 17 firefighters, however, made it possible to limit the spread of the flames.
An investigation is underway and samples have been taken. According to initial findings, there were two outbreaks of fireand it is therefore the criminal track that the investigators favor.
