Before his extension last summer with Real Madrid, where he has been playing for 13 years, Karim Benzema received 8 million euros net per year; according to the Spanish media El Confidential. But health crisis obliges, he was, like others, forced to lower his salary by 10% for the 2021/22 season, then by 15% for 2022/23 according to information from Foot Mercato. Thus, his income for the current season would therefore amount to 7.2 million euros net. Tied until June 2023, the White House vice-captain receives 2.5 million euros per year from his partnership with Adidas.
Luxury lifestyle
The native of Lyon lives in a villa estimated at five million and his income has allowed him to build up a fine collection of cars, visible on his Instagram account. And not just any! Bugatti Veyron and Chiron (only 5 copies exist, editor’s note). Without forgetting his Lamborghini Urus, a Huracan Spyder as well as an Aventador, in addition to a Mercedes-McLaren SLR, or even a Porsche 911 Turbo S. He also drives an Audi Q5, thanks to the partnership between the German brand and its club.
