Gabriel Attal announced, Tuesday January 16, that he had “propose” to the President of the National Assembly to deliver her general policy speech “January 30”, three weeks after his appointment to Matignon. In the morning, during a private exchange with deputies from the Renaissance, MoDem and Horizons groups, Gabriel Attal affirmed that he would deliver his general policy speech “next week” in the National Assembly and the Senate. He said he wanted to respond to “expectations of our fellow citizens on the promotion of work, on school, on health, on housing, on security”despite “complicated budgetary outlook” And “difficult geopolitical prospects”according to comments reported by participants in the meeting.

“We must take a certain number of directions, courageous decisions which will give rise to debate and controversy, but which are in line with our values, our DNA”underlined Gabriel Attal.
