The war in Ukraine is the cause of many problems in the global economic sphere, including, among other things, dizzying increases in the price of a liter of gasoline at the pump. […]
What happens when gas prices are high? Well yes, transport costs are increasing, and our good friends, the grocery chains, are increasing, in great detail, their prices under our dumbfounded eyes. If this logic is fundamental in one sense, why is it not in the other? Because the price of a liter of gasoline at the pump drops, so transportation costs less, and therefore the bill at the grocery store should drop by the same amount!
So just like the oil companies and the grocery chains, who love economic logic when it favors them, the good people also have that same right when the tide turns, right? When will we have lower prices at the grocery store?
