Hassen Chalghoumi, imam of Drancy and president of the conference of imams of France, announced Wednesday November 8 on franceinfo that he will participate in the march for the Republic and against anti-Semitism on Sunday, at the call of Gérard Larcher and Yaël Braun -Pivet.

The iman had already mobilized after the Charlie attack in 2015 and the assassination of Samuel Paty in 2020. He participated on October 9 in a solidarity march with Israel organized by the CRIF (Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France).
