“The AMF has decided to call on elected officials and the population to mobilize, we are not giving up (…) and as such tomorrow at noon, we have decided with (…) all the mayors of France to call for a rally on the squares of the town halls, we will sound the sirens (…) and we continue our daily work so that order returns”said David Lisnard on TF1.

The home of the mayor of L’Haÿ-les-Roses (Val-de-Marne) suffered an incendiary car-ram attack, forcing his family to flee. An investigation for “attempted assassination” was opened by the Créteil prosecutor’s office after the events in L’Haÿ-les-Roses, a “extreme gravity” according to the public prosecutor. Around 1:30 a.m., a burning vehicle entered the grounds of the house of Mayor Vincent Jeanbrun (LR), who was then at City Hall to manage another night of riots in his town of more than 30 000 inhabitants, south of Paris.
