The preferred suicide trail after the death of a 15-year-old girl near Arras

Two deaths in one month, among the students of the Gambetta school group in Arras. A pupil was found dead, this Monday, January 3, at her home in Anzin-Saint-Aubin, near Arras. She was 15 years old. The suicide hypothesis is privileged by the Arras prosecutor’s office, which opened an investigation. It happens a month after the suicide of another student 16 years old, within the establishment.

From this Tuesday, a support cell has been implemented in the establishment. It is made up of school nurses, social workers and psychologists, listening to students and teachers. The assistant to the academic director, Joël Sürig, also visited the site.
