The prefect of Bouches-du-Rhône Frédérique Camilleri proposed the establishment of a “static police guard” near the Aix-Marseille University site, forced to close due to drug trafficking, franceinfo learned on Wednesday October 4 from the prefecture. The police will be mobilized “from today” near the Colbert site.
A meeting was organized on Wednesday between the Bouches-du-Rhône prefecture, the university, the police services and the town hall. It was agreed to a “better exchange of information”, specifies the prefecture. Frédérique Camilleri also asked the dean of the faculty to reconsider the decision for distance learning courses.
