The prefecture of the Alpes-Maritimes bans the fireworks display in Cannes

The prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes has just issued an order to to prohibit the organization of fireworks shows in the Alpes-Maritimes. The decree goes from December 31 at 4 p.m. until January 2 at 6 a.m. A decision which concerns almost only one case: the fireworks display in Cannes because the other events had already been canceled by the mayors themselves. But David Lisnard, the mayor of Cannes, had decided to resist and for a few days decided to maintain his fireworks display, explaining that everything was thought out and in place so that no health risk is taken. The government did not hear it that way. Through the prefect, he therefore found a way to coerce him.
