This weekend is the traditional potato festival in Matemale. The opportunity to discover the potato producers of Cerdagne-Capcir.
This is the case of Gaec du Mas Blanc in Bourg-Madame. In this family farm, at an altitude of 1200 meters, we produce milk for the Cimelait cooperative but also the emblematic vegetables of our mountains: turnips from Cerdagne and potatoes. Among the varieties produced: a lot of Monalisa, but also early varieties such as Amandines and a little Charlotte and Binjes (for fries, etc.)
The Mas Blanc will be present at the potato festival in Matemale, but you can also go directly to the farm to go to the market: direct sale of potatoes and turnips.
Note that the Gaec du Mas Blanc also manages three lodgings in an old Cerdane farm.
