(France 2)
For the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, two posters were presented to the public on Monday March 4. They present a dreamlike and teeming Paris.
The Paris 2024 posters were unveiled on Monday March 4. A man is preparing to dive, a dove on his arm, in front of a dreamlike city of Paris, like a stadium in which 40,000 characters swarm. For the Games, two posters were created. One is for the Olympic Games, the other is for the Paralympic Games. They can be separated or combined. The creators of the fresco revisited Paris and its monuments. Thus, the Stade de France is attached to the Eiffel Tower.
2,000 hours of work for a fantastic universe
The Trocadéro, where the medalists will parade, faces a wave from Tahiti, where the surfing will take place, or a marina in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) where the sailing events will take place. In total, 47 disciplines from the Olympic and Paralympic Games are represented. To create this fantastic universe, Ugo Gattoni, designer of the Paris 2024 posters, worked for 2000 hours. “I spent four months on it,” he indicates.
