The latter made an allusion to the words of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, affirming that racism was “residual”.
On the far right of the political spectrum, Marine Le Pen was quick to accuse her opponents. This barbaric attack places anti-Semitism at the heart of the early legislative election campaign. Gabriel Attal castigated the complacency of certain parties. Anti-Semitism which, according to government figures, jumped 300% in the first quarter compared to the year 2023.
