Frozen pig carcasses hanging from overpasses were found Thursday morning in the metropolis. An investigation has been opened by the Montreal police, ignoring the reasons behind this unusual discovery.
The carcasses were in the borough of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, in different places.
Patrol officers from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) made the strange discovery following a 911 call. , as well as at the corner of avenue Christophe-Colombe and rue des Carrières.
Another pig’s head was located, hanging from a viaduct at the corner of rue Dandurand and avenue De Lorimier.
The origin of the presence of these carcasses is unknown to the authorities for the moment.
