The National Financial Prosecutor’s Office (PNF) announced on Wednesday November 22 that it had received a first report on the affair of the trip to Tahiti from the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, France Bleu Paris learned, confirming information from Le Parisien.
The PNF also confirms having received, through the Paris prosecutor’s office, the complaint for embezzlement of public funds filed on November 15 by the anti-corruption association AC!. The PNF explains that this report and this complaint are currently “analyzed”. “No investigation is open at this stage”he continues.
Anne Hidalgo’s trip to Tahiti from October 16 to 22, namely from “check the surfing facilities, as part of the 2024 Olympics”created controversy upon his return.
