The Pleyel mill in Saint-Denis, the best bakery in France?

From small villages to big cities, from the mountains to the seaside… The jury of the program “La Meilleur Bakery de France” crosses the 13 regions of France to find THE best bakery!

Every day, Norbert Tarayre and Bruno Cormerais evaluate bakers on different criteria and launch a common challenge to the two bakeries in the running by asking them in particular for a creation, either based on a product from the region, or around an emblematic dish.

From February 21 to 25, these are bakers from the Ile de France who are in competition! This Thursday, February 24, “Le moulin de Pleyel” in Saint-Denis confronts “La Maison Sohier” in Noisy-le-Grand.

Samba from the bakery “Le Moulin de Pleyel” was our guest this morning on the program “Circuit Bleu – Côté Saveurs” alongside Laurent Mariotte. After a few words on his success, he returns to the history of the traditional baguette.

For the show’s signature product Samba presented hibiscus flower bread.

Good luck also to “La Maison Sohier” in Noisy-le-Grand which faces the Bakery “Le Moulin de Pleyel” tonight at 6:40 p.m. on M6
