According to a source familiar with the matter, the pimp simply went to the courthouse grievance around 4:30 p.m., shortly after a warrant for his arrest was issued. He was arrested on the spot, without any fuss. He is currently being held in captivity.

It was at 4 p.m. on Wednesday that Judge Pierre Dupras issued the arrest warrant against the 43-year-old Laval resident. Summoned to be at the palace for 2 p.m., the latter was two hours late.

When the sentence was to be pronounced, his lawyer, Mrs.and Anna Ouahnich, assured that her client “would only be 20 to 30 minutes late”, and that he was “ready to hear his prison sentence”. Mand Ouahnich pleaded for his client to receive a sentence of two years less a day. The Crown prosecutor, Mr.and Charles Doucet, for his part, suggested 42 months, or three and a half years.

In December, the Laval resident was found guilty of three charges related to pimping and assault charges. The facts date back to 2016 and 2017. The criminal notably forced his girlfriend at the time to prostitute herself three to seven times a day, five days a week, for several months. He took all the profits from him.

Westley Alectus will appear today. He must receive his sentence Friday morning at the Montreal courthouse.
