The PHI Center dives into the world of Daft Punk

The PHI Center, in Old Montreal, will be honoring the iconic duo Daft Punk this summer, more precisely that of the album Random Access Memoriesreleased in 2013.

This original programming will be presented from 1er May to August 11 at Habitat Sonore, the sound immersion room of the PHI Center.

Spectators will first be able to listen to a 15-minute interview with the members of the duo, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, who will tell the story of the album. This is, according to the Phi Center, their first interview since the group’s separation in 2021. This segment will be followed by an immersive 66-minute listen.

The album Random Access Memories earned Daft Punk five Grammy Awards and includes numerous prestigious collaborations (Pharrell Williams, Julian Casablancas, Giorgio Moroder), including the global success Get Lucky.

As a second program, the PHI Center offers “Playlist Montreal”, with songs by Montreal artists such as Patrick Watson, Gayance, Daniel Bélanger and Waahli.

Two one-week pop-up programs complete the summer programming: Born to Leave by Wake Island and Radwan Ghazi Moumneh (1er to May 7) and Mood Ring by Kallitechnis (June 19 to 23).

The PHI Center is located at 315, rue Saint-Paul Ouest, in Montreal.
