The peacekeepers’ mission in Mali comes to an end

(United Nations) The UN Security Council put an immediate end on Friday to the peacekeeping mission of peacekeepers in Mali, a withdrawal demanded by Bamako which will take place over six months.


The unanimously adopted resolution puts an end to the UN mission in Mali (MINUSMA) “from 30 June” and stipulates that from 1er July, the Blue Helmets will cease their activities to organize their departure “by December 31”.
