“Let’s mobilize for an immediate ceasefire”. The French Communist Party of Gard calls a rally for peace in Ukraine in front of the Maison Carrée, in Nîmes. The appointment is fixed for 5:30 p.m., this Friday, February 25.

In a press release, Vincent Bouget, departmental secretary of the PCF Gard, condemns the attack by Russian forces this Thursday morning. Russia is bombing military targets across the country. A first assessment, at 11 a.m., reports more than 40 soldiers and a dozen Ukrainian civilians killed.
