15 films in competition
Inspired by the Swiss novel The Life and Passion of Dodin-Bouffant, gourmet written by Marcel Rouff and published in 1924, Tran Anh Hung’s film is in competition with 14 other foreign films including the German-Japanese film Perfect Days by Wim Wenders, released in France at the end of November, or the American-British-Polish film The Zone of Interest which won the Grand Prix at the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival (released January 31).
