Two months before the elections in Quebec, the recruitment of candidates is in full swing. While the parties are aware of the importance of presenting more women, the Parti Québécois is lagging behind in this area.

With only 17 women out of 45 candidates (38%) on the starting line, the Parti Québécois (PQ) is currently the political party with the fewest female candidates. It is the only party outside the parity zone (between 40% and 60%).
