For the eleventh consecutive time, PSG is playing in the Champions Trophy, which it will play this Wednesday, January 3 against Toulouse. The traditional poster which sees the winner of Ligue 1 pitted against that of the Coupe de France is no longer really surrounded by suspense: since 2013, the capital’s players have only conceded victory once, at Losc in 2021.
On the other hand, it presents two new features this year: usually placed in the summer just before the resumption of the season, this time it takes place upon return from the winter break after the cancellation of the meeting in Thailand on August 5. Normally relocated abroad and therefore on neutral ground, the match will be played at the Parc des Princes, den of Parisians, which aroused the indignation of Toulouse supporters who called not to travel there.
