The Paris prosecutor’s office announced to franceinfo, Tuesday July 12, that it had requested a trial before the assizes against Tariq Ramadan. The Swiss Islamologist is accused of rape by four women. The prosecution specifies that it is charged with the count of rape with regard to three complainants and with the count of rape on a vulnerable person with regard to a fourth complainant.
