Montreal-based marine and environmental services company Logistec said Friday that its controlling shareholder has informed the board of directors of its interest in selling its shares.
Logistec is controlled by the founder’s family. The company is also managed by Madeleine Paquin, one of the founder’s daughters. The Paquin family also expressed the wish that Logistec initiate a strategic review. The board of directors retained TD Securities as an advisor and created a special committee to evaluate strategic options, including the sale.
