The 53-year-old director thanks the entire film team and delivers a speech on the future of cinema. “I will continue to fight for cinema”he commented.

Shortlisted for the Palme d’Or, Jacques Audiard won the Jury Prize for his musical “Emilia Perez”. The French director thanks the four main actresses of the film, who received the prize for best actress. The Special Jury Prize was awarded to Mohammad Rassoulof for his film “The seeds of the wild fig tree”. The 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival paid tribute to George Lucas, director of the wise “Star Wars”, who received the Palm of Honor.
