The OSM on tour in Europe in the fall

The Montreal Symphony Orchestra (OSM) will embark on a tour of eight European cities on November 19.



The orchestra led by conductor Rafael Payare will stop first in London, then in Luxembourg, Paris, Hamburg, Berlin, Amsterdam, Munich and Vienna.

Russian pianist Daniil Trifonov will accompany the OSM during this tour – Rafael Payare’s fourth since he took the helm of the orchestra.

In the program : Jeder Baum spricht by Iranian-Canadian composer Iman Habibi, the Piano Concertoo 1 of Beethoven, the Fantastic Symphony by Berlioz, An alpine symphony (Eine Alpensinfonie) by Richard Strauss, as well as the Piano concerto by Schumann.

The tour will conclude on November 30.
