The Orchester Métropolitain is working on a musical event dedicated to young people with a symphonic adaptation of the novel The cloud shovel by Simon Boulerice, illustrated by Josée Bisaillon.
This symphonic tale, for three actors and a large orchestra, will be presented next February at the Maison symphonique de Montréal.
The novel published in The Short Ladder in 2018 tells the story of the adventures of Elliot, a little boy with a vivid imagination suffering from vitiligo. It talks about difference, inclusion and self-esteem.
