Guillaume Daret details, on the set of 23 hours of Franceinfo Tuesday, January 25, the vision that the French have of the political world. 70% of respondents have negative feelings about this environment.
On the Franceinfo 23 hours set on Tuesday January 25, journalist Guillaume Daret takes stock of the morale of the French, which is not “not very happy”. “Lassitude, distrust, gloom: these are the three qualifying terms that come to mind when we ask the French for their state of mind. This is the work that was carried out by the center for the study of French political life”, he reports. It also indicates that “70% of respondents say they have negative feelings about politics, only 29% positive feelings”.
Who are the political actors in whom the population still has confidence today? “Their mayor comes first, with 65% confidence, clearly ahead of the deputies, 45%, and the President of the Republic, 38%”, explains Guillaume Daret. Finally, if we ask the French where they are on the political arc, from the extreme right to the extreme left, “Never have so many French people said they are right-wing. 32% say they are right-wing, 17% left-wing, 11% far-right. It’s lower, but it should be noted that it’s on the rise : there are also more and more French people who voluntarily call themselves far-right”, says the journalist.
