Plan Noé: Nature in Occitania… Of course! The Occitanie Region wishes fnature area everyone’s business, and first and foremost citizens. It is therefore undertaking an innovative approach, the first in France at the regional level, to build a nature plan for Occitania which will allow as many people as possible to get involved in the protection of nature, to discover and become aware of the importance of nature and of living in good health thanks to its benefits.
For this first stage, the inhabitants of Occitanie are invited to answer a questionnaire until March 27 to share their connection to nature whether in their daily lives or their actions. It will be followed by a hackathon bringing together elected officials, athletes, experts, environmental and popular education associations, young people involved, etc. to enrich the action plan and bring out new innovative proposals. The answers to the questionnaire will also feed this step.
In May, the Region will launch an online citizen consultation around the action proposals of the Plan Noé. The adoption of the Plan will take place in November 2022.
