Sign that the Covid-19 epidemic is accelerating: the number of closed classes in the Lille Academy has almost doubled in one week (+ 90%). Between Thursday, November 18 and this Thursday, it went from 355 to 667. Currently 511 classes are closed in the North, 156 in the Pas-de-Calais. Out of a total of 36,329.
1300 children in school are currently positive for coronavirus, it is also a doubling compared to last week. A school of the Academy is completely closed.
Protocol under modification
In primary schools, a single case of Covid-19 is enough to close the entire class. The protocol will change during the next week: all students will be tested, and only those who will be contaminated will be forced to return home.
