Part of the Nova Kakhovka dam, located near Kherson, in southern Ukraine, was destroyed on the night of Monday June 5 to Tuesday June 6, assured the southern operational command of the country. Videos made by a drone show a huge flow of water rushing into a gaping hole, caused by a Russian attack, according to Ukrainian authorities.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has urgently convened his Security Council, the head of the presidential administration announced. “Another war crime committed by Russian terrorists”added Andriï Iermak on Telegram. “The destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station is a terrorist act on the part of Russia, which bears full responsibility”assured Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Chmyhal.
