Forced to move because of the noise caused by festive neighbors, we found ourselves in an apartment surrounded by noise! Behind our house, there is a bread factory which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and which gives us no respite: ventilation system, trucks coming and going, hammering on the trucks to bring down the flour, etc
City of Montreal vehicles also tumble down our street, to reach land rented or purchased by the City, where they do various jobs. To top it off, we benefit from the air traffic of helicopters and pleasure planes that fly around our skies as if climatic disorders were not an absolute priority for us and for future generations.
For me, all of this activity makes me feel like I haven’t slept in ages. I feel exhausted, and my morale suffers. The solution would be to move, but where to go? To pay how much?
