the nightmare that hides behind his beautiful victory

If France experiences many disappointments in the adult edition of the Eurovision contest, young French artists represent the country wonderfully. After two French victories, Zoe Clauzure offered a third title to the country this Sunday, November 26, 2023 at the Palais Nikaïa in Nice. The young singer performed her song Heart

and allowed her to be crowned the big winner.

A title which evokes school bullying, of which she herself was a victim a few years ago. Indeed, in an interview given to West France

a few days before the competition, Zoe Clauzure returned to this difficult period. “This song is about school bullying. When I was younger, I was a victim of it”, she confided to our colleagues. This is a subject “Very important” for her all the more since, as she deplores, there is still “many victims today”.

Zoé Clauzure “saved” many victims thanks to her title

“I really wanted to give them strength and light so that they could get through it. I also received messages that told me: ‘Zoé, you helped me a lot, you saved me ‘…It’s a very important song for victims today”, she continues. Comments that she reiterated to BFMTV

this Monday morning.

She says she is happy, in addition to having won the competition, to “know that there were people who were helped by [sa] song, by [son] energy…”. Even after her performance, the young woman again received numerous messages, thanking her for her title: “I’ve received quite a few messages saying, ‘You saved my life thanks to your song,’ which makes me really happy.”
