After the secrets of Parisian theaters and a stroll along the Seine, it’s now in the streets of our capital that the Parisian, in partnership with France Bleu Paris, has chosen to take you along for this new special issue “Heritage & walks”. Arc de Triomphe, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Sorbonne or the Louvre… So many places that we can come across during our daily trips but to which we no longer necessarily pay attention and yet, in this new special issue, the Parisian points the finger the beauty of these monuments to rediscover absolutely !

Eiffel Tower

While we all knowits history, its breathtaking view of the capital or the number of its steps, a place in the Iron Lady still aroused many fantasies: a hypothetical apartment installed there by Gustave Eiffel. For any apartment, it’s actually an office located on the third floor of the Eiffel Tower. It has seen the greatest crowned heads of the time parade, but has also hosted a prestigious meeting: that of Gustave Eiffel and Thomas Edison. Thanks to the magic of the Grévin Museum, we can become witnesses to it in our turn. The meeting of two geniuses, two men who will have changed the face of our lives through their work is offered to us. The details of this meeting, its purpose and its privileged witness are told to you in the columns of the new special issue of Le Parisien.

Paris in fiction

It is also an opportunity to come back to two fictions that still and always contribute to the world renown of Paris : The fabulous destiny of Amelie Poulain and Emily in Paris. Cult film from the early 2000s for one, romantic series from the creator of Sex and the city for the other: these two works offer a different vision of Paris. You will meet the owners of places with a place of choice in these two fictions which give pride of place to a certain face of Paris. Whether Amelie Poulain pays homage to Montmartre, Emily Cooper prefer to stroll in the 5th district. Follow the Parisian in the walk you choose: Are you more Amélie or Emily? ?

News from Notre Dame

Le Parisien takes the opportunity to take us to the construction site of Notre-Dame de Paris. After being ravaged by a fire in April 2019, the cult cathedral of Victor Hugo should regain all its splendor in 2024. You will discover, step by step, what remains to be done to restore this true emblem of Paris. You will also find photos of the construction site and those who work there.
