The new restaurant “Les Pyrénées”, royal square in Pau

Trained at the hotel and tourism high school in Talence, Chef Romain Loustalet has acquired extensive experience in France and abroad in high-quality restaurants, including several starred restaurants, such as the Hôtel de la Cité (1* Michelin ) in Carcassonne, the Hotel La Chèvre d’Or (2* Michelin) in Eze, or at Michel Bras (3* Michelin) in Laguiole. After the last three past at the head of the restaurant of the Pau Golf Club 1856, Romain Loustalet has just opened the restaurant “Les Pyrénées”, place Royale in Pau.

The rebirth of a mythical place

“Les Pyrénées” is a well-known name in the town center of Pau. It is quite simply the one worn by the restaurant located in the same place until the end of the 90s, and which was an essential address in Pau.

By taking up this name, Romain Loustalet intends to safeguard the heritage of Pau, by offering bistro cuisine with fresh and regional products. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 9 place Royale in Pau.
