“After a personal slump, professional fatigue and the death of his parents, he [Paul] feels the need to take stock,” writes La Pastèque in the short presentation of the new 256-page illustrated book. “In this haven of peace, conducive to reflection, Paul will begin a new chapter in his life. »

As for this new format, Michel Rabagliati explains that it imposed itself. “It seemed incongruous to me to cut into boxes and strips the wild majesty of this island. The ink and the pen also appeared to me as too hard and too radical tools to describe it. So I opted for this presentation, ”he wrote in the press release published by La Pastèque.
