But Anne-Sophie Lapix holds firm and even performs feats. On February 16, she will launch a special edition presenting the 8 p.m. newscast, live from Kiev – with reports and a meeting with Vitali Klitschko, the city’s mayor.

The 50-year-old journalist wants “highlight what Ukrainians are going through” as she indicates to our colleagues from TV Magazine. And to add: “I am very mobilized, motivated and happy to be here, at an important moment. We are in a war that is turning our lives upside down”.
And if since the beginning of her career, she has rather made the set, Anne-Sophie Lapix believes that “It’s also good to sometimes go and see what is happening on the pitch”.
