This is an announcement that shook the media! In April 2023, Nikos Aliagas confirmed his departure from 50′ Inside after 16 years of good and loyal service on the first channel. A carefully considered decision that surprised its loyal viewers. “En agreement with my bosses, I decided to stop because my 2023/2024 season will be loaded with the new seasons of Star Academy and The Voice”revealed the happy father of two children for “Puremédias”.
The emblematic host of TF1 now wants to focus on other projects… While slowing down: “For 16 years, I’ve been on the air at 5.50 p.m. and back at 1 a.m. on Saturdays. It’s a lot. I want to take time for myself to focus on other issues and develop what I do more and more around photography”.
Very quickly, Karine Ferri, Tatiana Silva or even Hélène Mannarino were then approached to succeed him. After several weeks of rumours, it was finally Isabelle Ithurburu who was chosen to take over the reins of 50′ Inside. Not a little proud, Nikos Aliagas then took to his Twitter account to congratulate her on Tuesday, May 23: “Welcome to TF1 Isabelle Ithurburu. Good road with the magnificent teams of @ 50mininside”.
