After months of rumors and speculation on social media, Marvel Studios revealed Wednesday morning, on Valentine’s Day, the four actors who will star in The Fantastic Fourplanned for 2025.
Pedro Pascal (the series The Last of Us And The Mandalorian) will play Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic. His wife, Sue Storm, aka Invisible Woman, will be played by Vanessa Kirby (the series The Crownthe last two Impossible mission). Sue’s brother Johnny, aka Human Torch, will be played by Joseph Quinn, best known for his role as Eddie Munson in the series Stranger Things. Finally, Ebon Moss-Bachrach (the series The Bear And Girls) will take on the features of Ben Grimm, aka The Thing.
Matt Shakman, who directed the series WandaVisionis behind the camera, while the screenplay is by Josh Friedman and Cameron Squires.
This is the fourth film adaptation – if we count the 1994 version which never saw the light of day – of the superhero family created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1961.
The Fantastic Four will be released on July 25, 2025.
