the new dance teacher, Yanis Marshall, tackles without a glove Nikos Aliagas whom he meets for the first time in “Quotidien”!

On the eve of the broadcast on TF1 of the new season of “Star Academy”, Yann Barthès invited the new “dirlo” Michael Goldman and the historic host of the program Nikos Aliagas on the set of “Quotidien Week-end”, this Friday, October 14. At random, the two personalities of the emblematic show of the 2000s were able to reveal some exclusive information while returning to the keys to the success of “Star Ac”. And if former students should make an appearance in the program as we told you, the cast has also opened up to new coaches, less known to the general public. This is the case for example of Yanis Marshall, the new dance teacher. Joining his two acolytes on the set, alongside Ophélie Meunier, exceptional guest of Yann Barthès, the 32-year-old choreographer admitted that he was meeting the flagship host of TF1 for the first time. Amused, the presenter of “Daily” then presents him as his boss. To which the master dancer replies tit for tat: “No, he’s the candidate’s boss, he’s not my boss”. Oops ! A slight chill then crosses the backs of the guests… and silence settles in until Yanis Marshall, aware of his both hurtful and casual response, adds: “My boss is Nikos, it’s the production , I still have some”. A statement to which the host, a little upset, and who never has his tongue in his pocket responds with humor: “I get to know my employee then.”

Yanis Marshall, dancer on high heels

If he does not yet know Nikos Aliagas, Yanis Marshall knows Kamel Ouali well, with whom he was able to take his first steps into the world of choreography: “I started my career with Kamel. I’ve known him since I was a kid, since I was 15.” And to the question on how he envisages his future coaching program, Yanis Marshall answers without hesitation: “I am quite demanding (…) I don’t take myself too seriously either, so I will surely say a lot of bullshit. We will still have to be serious and keep up with the pace”. And when Yann Barthès announces that the choreographer’s specialty is dancing in high heels, the British “Dancing with the Stars” choreographer announces that he won’t necessarily impose them on his students… maybe just on girls! surprises are likely to be at the rendezvous of the challenges punctuating the show… where, as we already know, mobile phones will not be welcome in order, as Nikos Aliagas points out, to be able to live, and very well, like in the 20th century!
