The new album by Cowboys Fringants, whose singer, Karl Tremblay, passed away in the fall of 2023, will be available at midnight on the night of Wednesday to Thursday on all of the group’s digital platforms.
The latter made the announcement early Wednesday evening on social networks. From May 10, it will also be possible to obtain a physical copy of this new CD, which is entitled Royal Pub, like the musical. However, we will have to wait until the summer to get our hands on the vinyl album.
Marie-Annick Lépine, widow of Mr. Tremblay and musician within the group, revealed last February that the recording of the album was finished. Fans were therefore impatiently awaiting its release.

Karl Tremblay’s voice will also resonate on the album, to the great delight of Cowboys fans. When the singer died on November 15, social networks were flooded with testimonies of love and gratitude towards him. Died at the age of 47, he revealed in 2022 that he suffered from prostate cancer.
Two weeks after his death, thousands of fans of the group gathered at the Bell Center to mourn the loss of this artist, during a national tribute ceremony.
