the Navy Museum, the history of the Gulf of Morbihan and local clogs

From the Quai des Indes in Lorient, Johann Guérin and Jérôme Lebreton give you a taste of Brittany, its inhabitants, its heritage and its good humor!

Every day live from one of our 44 local stations, Johann Guérin spends a summer by your side to make you want to rediscover the treasures of our regions. Good addresses, unmissable places, crafts or legends and all that, live from your home!

Administrator of the Navy Museum, Anne Belaud de Saulce makes you discover the collections of boats, weapons and historical models of the museum. There are two themed areas: sea rescue and ocean treasures.

It also presents the building of the citadel of Port-Louis and its specificities.

On the “net” side, Marie-Ange presents her Carnets d’une Bretonne online. Since 2014, she has been sharing walks and photos of her own Brittany. Originally from Auray, she knows all the good places to go out, local recipes to knock off your guests or original local businesses!
She even reveals her best hike to do in the area.

On the legend side, the storyteller of the “Once upon a time” Association, Jannick Guerlesquin, tells us about the birth of the Gulf of Morbihan.

Because the most beautiful know-how must be put forward, “Ma France, l’été” gives the floor to one of the last clog-makers in France. At 66, Claude Simon has just retired. He was the last clog maker of Camors in Morbihan. For almost 10 years, until 2021, he made the clogs for the actors of the Puy du Fou park. He has now found a buyer for his activity, which he has been training for three months.

Finally, Anne Clément from the Lang’duires association in Languidic presents us with a concept of farmer drive to collect your shopping which is organized in a short circuit, and therefore only with local products.
