The National Rally will not present a candidate against Nicolas Dupont-Aignan in the legislative elections, franceinfo learned on Monday May 9 from an RN executive. The president of Debout la France, himself a candidate in the presidential election, had called for a vote for Marine Le Pen after the first round of the presidential election.
This 8th constituency of Essonne will therefore be one of the few without a candidate from the National Rally, while the last national investiture commission of the party is being held on Monday afternoon.
Nicolas Dupont-Aignan will not be opposed to a Reconquest candidate either! who, like the RN, decided last week not to present a candidate against him.
