Tweets with racist and anti-Semitic overtones, conspiracy theories… Some National Rally MPs have been ejected from the party.

The time has come for the National Rally to go back to school. The party will have to bury the bad memories of the legislative elections because of the candidates accused of anti-Semitism or racism. Others are under guardianship or still untraceable. In their constituencies, the party no longer wants them and Jordan Bardella had promised to tighten the screws. This Lyon MP Daniel Grenon, re-elected under the colours of the far-right party last July, made comments deemed problematic during a debate.

“There are people who are Maghrebian and who have come to power as ministers. For me, these people have no place in high places.”he said. Today, he sits as a non-registered member in the National Assembly. We contacted him. “I’m waiting for the decision. If they decide to reject me, they reject me. It won’t stop me from continuing on my path.”he explains. On the other hand, another RN MP was not summoned despite his slip-up on dual nationals.
