The National Rally continues to widen the gap. Three months before the European elections, the far-right party is even further behind the presidential majority, according to a survey of 12,000 people published in The world Monday March 11. Around 31% of French people announce their intention to vote for the list led by Jordan Bardella, a figure up three points compared to the previous wave in November. Some 18% of respondents said they were supporting Valérie Hayer, the head of the presidential majority list.
Followed by the lists of Raphaël Glucksmann (PS/Place publique), with 11.5% of voting intentions, and Marie Toussaint (Les Ecologistes) with 8.5% of voting intentions. François-Xavier Bellamy (Les Républicains) is announced at 7%, tied with Manon Aubry (La France insoumise). Marion Maréchal, head of the Reconquest party list, would obtain 5% of the vote, according to this poll. The lists of the communist Léon Deffontaines and the sovereignist Nicolas Dupont-Aignan would be below 5%, with respectively 3.5% and 2.5% of voting intentions.
This vast survey, conducted from March 1 to 6 among 11,770 people registered on the electoral lists and adults, also shows a proportion of only 42 to 46% intending to vote on June 9. During the previous election in 2019, 50.1% of French people traveled. However, the attraction for the elections is increasing: the people most interested go from 46% in November to 56% in March. At the same time, those least interested in the vote fell from 23% to 18%.
