In the courtyard of a Nice hotel, activists from the National Rally (RN) do not yet realize. In the Alpes-Maritimes, Jordan Bardella’s list received nearly 38% of the votes. They want to believe in a new victory at the polls. “We will push Emmanuel Macron to cohabitation [et] to appoint Jordan Bardella as Prime Minister”, assures Andrea Orabona. The RN did not wait to broadcast a campaign image of the candidate. In front of the party headquarters, the cadres parade, claiming that everything is ready.
“We had planned the Matignon plan. We have been working on it for six months, so we had anticipated that there would be early legislative elections”, assures Julien Sanchez, vice-president of the RN. It’s already time for negotiations. The head of the Reconquest list, Marion Maréchal, spoke with Jordan Bardella and Marine Le Pen. No agreement has been reached, but there is a desire to come together, from the far right to the right. Like Sunday evening, party officials planned to work all night, this Monday, June 10.
