the National Rally campaigning for purchasing power

Under the sun, in the middle of the Ascension weekend, the candidates seek voters among tourists. Hands full of leaflets, they wander around the Vergt hall, between the strawberry stalls and the artisanal jewelery stalls. Williams Ambroise (1st constituency), Serge Muller (2nd constituency) and Florence Joubert (3rd constituency) can count on significant support to accompany them: MEP Jean-Lin Lacapelle. The candidate for the 4th constituency (the constituency of Vergt) Ludivine Le Berre could not come.

In Vergt, Marine Le Pen convinced 52.7% of voters last April. And the candidates hope to continue the trend in the legislative elections. Some accept the leaflets with pleasure, discuss a few minutes with the candidates, others do not want to hear about it. “It’s normal we can’t all have the same political opinions”slips Williams Ambroise with a shrug. “The idea is to discuss with people. Some do not take the leaflets because of the gaze of others but we know that they will vote for us”adds Serge Muller. “The market is the place where we discuss inflation. We wish people a good market and they tell us no, it’s not a good market with rising prices”he adds.

Florence Joubert stopped in front of the fishmonger’s stand to chat with a lady. She is retired, a former farmer. She voted Marine Le Pen for president, and will surely do the same in the legislative elections. “I was withdrawn 21 euros, because of the CSG”, she says. Florence Joubert listens to him, nodding. “You have to vote, that’s all we have to make things happen”she adds.

“People need to know that Marine Le Pen is the only credible opposition to Emmanuel Macron. We need to mobilize, people need to trust us. On June 12 and 19, they will create a surprise by allowing us to have dozens of deputies”concludes Jean-Lin Lacapelle.
